We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to guard data and information on our system, including, but not limited to, Secure Socket Layer, key card access and use of logins and encrypted passwords.

We require other companies with whom we do business to maintain adequate safety and measures to provide data security.

However, to the extent we may provide links to third-party websites for your convenience and information, when you access those links, you will leave our Website. Digitech does not control those sites or their information privacy practices, which may differ from ours. We do not endorse or make any representations about third-party websites. The information you may choose to provide to third parties is not covered by this Privacy Statement or our privacy policy. We encourage you to review the privacy policy statement of any such third party before submitting information. Some third parties may share information and data with us; that sharing is governed by that third party's privacy policy.

What Information Do We Collect?

When you visit our Website you may provide us with two types of information: customer information you knowingly choose to disclose that is collected on a customer-by-customer basis and Website use information or traffic data collected on an aggregate basis as you and others browse our Website.

Information You Choose to Provide

Customer information is that which is associated with a particular customer (e.g., contact person(s), e-mail or IP address, mailing address or telephone number) or interests, demographics or experiences. We will use such information only to support our customer relationship with you. We do not sell, rent or lease customer information to others for direct marketing purposes.

Traffic data is data about usage and service operations that is not associated with a specific customer's identity. Digitech collects and analyzes traffic data information to evaluate how visitors use our Website.

In the normal course of helping customers solve their day to day questions regarding the functionality of our software products it may be necessary for customers to send us data files with which they are working. This information, when received, is subject to our information and security procedures as described above. Once the customer question has been resolved and the data files supplied by the customer are no longer needed, Digitech will destroy the data files. If the data files are provided on a CD or DVD, that medium will be physically destroyed. Paper data files will be shredded. Data files received via email will be subject to our email information policy described below.

Email Information

If you choose to correspond with us through email, we may retain the content of your email messages together with your email address and our responses.

How Do We Use the Information That You Provide to Us?

Broadly speaking, we use collected data and information for purposes of administering and expanding our business activities, providing customer service and making available other products and services to our customers and prospective customers. Information from customers who are interested in purchasing any of our products or services may be sent to a Digitech Value Added Reseller who will contact you concerning your interest in Digitech products. Occasionally, we may use customer information we collect to communicate with you about important changes to our Website, new services and special offers we think you will find valuable. In those cases, customer information is not transferred to the third party.

Sharing Information with Third Parties

Other than as described above, we do not share customer specific information with others apart from those acting as our agents in providing our products and services, and which are provided only for that purpose and required to keep the information secure and confidential. Also, we may be merged or our assets, products, sites or operations may be transferred, and in such case the resulting entity or transferee will be able to use customer information included as part of that transaction. We also may disclose information that we maintain when required to do so by law, for example, in response to a court or governmental agency order or investigation, a subpoena or other legal obligation or in special cases when we believe that disclosing information is necessary to make contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interfering with (intentionally or unintentionally) our rights or property. Also be aware that courts such as the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts, might have authority under certain circumstances to require information to be shared or transferred to third parties without permission.

We may share aggregated information, which is not identifiable to a particular customer with others. This may include usage and demographic data, but it will not include information identifiable to a specific customer.
